The Eastlakes POA, Inc was formed as a nonprofit organization in June of 1982, for the purpose of managing properties in the Eastlakes Village, Eastlakes and Pinewood I and II. Eastlakes serves 289 homes and 36 Pinewood condominiums.
The Eastlake's POA is responsible for architectural approvals (home color, patios, pools, privacy walls, and driveways). Landscaping and irrigation maintenance is performed by the POA. The expense of maintenance is incorporated into the annual POA fees. Eastlakes is managed by a volunteer Board, elected at its annual meeting. Eastlakes is staffed by an excellent property management team at Campbell Property Management that assists us in all of your needs.
The World Around Us...
Lucky residents of Eastlakes are well placed in lovely Palm Beach Gardens just an 8 minute drive from white sand Atlantic beaches, and 20 minutes from world renowned Palm Beach, 1.5 miles from Roger Dean Baseball Stadium, and 8 miles from the beauty of the Jupiter Inlet and acres of protected natural park lands. We enjoy our own Audubon sanctuary and beautiful lakes, waterways and share miles of walking and bike trails. Our homes are protected by mature trees with many lake and golf course views. We are part of the larger Eastpointe community with a unique identity and architecture. There are two private golf clubs on the premises.
I am happy to announce that the appointee, Renee Kessler has joined our Board. We look forward to having Renee share her insights and opinions on community matters. I am also happy to inform you that we ended 2022 with a budget surplus of $15,000!
There will be some major decisions that involve our neighborhood this year, including the naming of the new development, entrance signs, property border fencing and irrigation installation. Schickendanz is currently working on all of the infrastructure and forecasts that the work will be completed by the end of the year. GT Homes has closed the deal with Schickendanz and they will be meeting with us to present their plans for the designs of the new homes.
Another major project that probably will start this year is the conversion of the Fitness Center building into the new office building. The timing of this in the large part will be dictated by the opening of the new fitness center. The Board anticipates an increase in the expense for this move and we have taken measures to increase our reserve funding.
On behalf of the Eastlakes Board, we wish everyone a safe and healthy New Year! David Asciutto, President
